Newlands, including Fernwood Estate, Pinewood Area, Hiddingh Estate, Newlands Village as well as the Vineyard Hotel area, are situated at the base of Table Mountain.  The area, lush and green, borders the beautiful Newlands Forest and the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
