Rosebank at a glance

Rosebank is a vibrant & exciting cosmopolitan suburb north of Jhb CBD.  It is a small suburb bordered by Oxford Rd, Bolton Rd, Jellicoe Ave & Jan Smuts Ave.  These are main arterial roads linking Rosebank to Sandton & Johannesburg CBD & affording access to the Freeway.  It is a mixed use area - Business, Residential & Recreational. 

The development of the Rosebank Gautrain Station was largely responsible for the major revamping of the area turning it into one of the largest business hubs in the country.  Many Blue Chip Companies have their Head Offices here. BP, Sappi, Coca Cola & STD Bank are a few of those represented here.  Anglo American will be moving their Offices to Rosebank in 2021 so this will further facilitate the growth of employment opportunities and need for residential accommodation.

There are tree lined streets and pedestrian-friendly avenues with side walk cafes. The Rosebank African & Sunday Roof Top Markets are a favourite with locals & Tourists.

With Rosebank being fully built up, Developers will have to look at Residential encroachment as demand increases.  Future projects may see large stand alone residential properties being purchased & demolished so as to provide for this need.
