Pretoria at a glance

Pretoria, (now known as Tshwane), South Africa’s executive and National capital is also commonly  referred to as the “Jacaranda City” as a result of the thousands of Jacaranda trees lining its streets.

The Greater Pretoria region of Gauteng includes the towns of Centurion, Cullinan, Bronkhorstspruit, Pretoria,Bapsfontein and all their surrounding areas. All of these towns (each of which were formerly separate municipalities) have been incorporated into the newly merged“Tshwane District Municipality”.

Position

Greater Pretoria Gauteng,starts approximately halfway between Johannesburg andPretoria and extends some 70 km’s both East & West of Pretoria.

Pretoria Property

The area referred to as Pretoria Moot is situated to the North East of Pretoria and covers the suburbs of Waverley, Kilnerpark, Queenswood, Villieria, Rietfontein, Moregloed, Wonderboom, South, Gezina, Riviera, Rietondale, Deernes, Colbyn, Montanapark, Montana, Doornpoort, Sinoville, Annlin, Wonderboom, Magalieskruin, Mountain View, Claremont, Capitalpark, Booysens, Eloffsdal, Les Marais and Mayville.

Pretoria North Information

This area includes a wide variety of suburbs in what is commonly known as Pretoria North. From the constantly bustling Pretoria North CBD to the rural Amandasig, this area also includes suburbs such as Florauna, Ninapark, Dorandia,Theresapark, Heatherdale, Karenpark, the Orchards & Chantelle.

Karenpark is a fast developing area which contains the recently expanded Wonderpark Shopping Mall, Karenpark Crossing and a host of other amenities.Newly developed residential areas in Rosslyn, Soshanguve & Ga-Rankuwa offer great value to new property market entrants. 

Centurion Information

Centurion is located between Pretoria & Midrand, and also forms part of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. Road wise, Centurion is located at the intersection of the N1 & N14 highways, with the popular R21 also passing through Centurion.

The Centurion area includes the following suburbs: Rooihuiskraal, Wierdapark, Eldoraigne, Rooihuiskraal, The Reeds, Highveld, Zwartkop, Lyttelton, Die Hoewes, Doringkloof.
