The Cape Agulhas Classic MTB race has become an annual event that not only offers a thrilling ride for participants, but also allows them to experience the delights of the spectacular coastal area around Struisbaai and L'Agulhas.
Chas Everitt Struisbaai was once again one of the main sponsors of the most recent race, which gave riders the chance to experience breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean while being challenged by the unspoiled, rugged terrain of the Cape Agulhas National Park.
The Cape Agulhas Classic is a wonderful event for families and both new and more experienced riders rate it an exhilarating event that demands high energy levels to stay the course but delivers a huge sense of accomplishment as you cross the finish line. Everyone also enjoys the camaraderie that comes with being part of such a thrilling event.
The accompanying Trail Run also provides an unforgettable experience for all of those who participate, and an uplifting atmosphere among cheering spectators and fellow athletes who are also testing their strength and stamina.
