Global achievement award for Chas Everitt International

Chas Everitt International has grown within just three years to be one of the top contributors to the global growth of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), the international network which already encompasses 565 market-leading independent residential brokerages in more than 65 countries.
And in recognition of the role the SA group is playing, CEO Berry Everitt was the recipient of one of the 12 formal awards made for the very first time this year during the LeadingRE Global Symposium held in Vienna.
“We have not presented awards in the 10-year history of this event, but the strength and engagement of our global membership has grown so much that we felt the time was right this year to recognise those who have been most instrumental in our development,” said LeadingRE chief operation officer Paul Boomsma, who presented the awards with LeadingRE chairman Joe Horning and LeadingRE president and CEO Pam O’Connor.
The award presented to Chas Everitt International was the Luxury Trendsetter Award for leadership in the affluent real estate space, and engagement with Luxury Portfolio International®, LeadingRE’s luxury marketing programme.
“We are extremely proud of this award, which follows the establishment of our own Luxury Portfolio division under the Chas Everitt International umbrella,” says Everitt, “and the dedication and diligence with which our luxury team, headed by Rory O’Hagan, has gone about building the brand in a very short time. Thanks to their efforts we have rapidly become a significant presence in SA’s luxury real estate sector, and are regularly entrusted with the mandates to market some of the most notable properties in the country.
“This success has been noted by many other LeadingRE members, and what we did is being hailed as a blueprint to help them gain greater access to high-end homebuyers and sellers in their own markets, especially in China, India, Indonesia and Malaysia as well as in the rest of Africa and South America.”
Meanwhile, he says, the SA customers of Chas Everitt International will continue to benefit from its membership of LeadingRE (www.LeadingRE.com). “This network ensures that we have global marketing reach and access to about 130 000 top real estate professionals around the world, who generate more than 1,1m real estate transactions a year.”
