The cream of SA society turned out to watch the Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo at the prestigious Val de Vie Estate in Paarl this weekend, and among the guests hosted by group CEO Berry Everitt at the Chas Everitt International VIP lounge were former Miss World Rolene Strauss, looking gorgeous in a marigold dress by Galluzzie Gini.
Also there were Isibaya star Nomzamo Mbatha, who turned heads in a lemon Amelia Warehouse dress by Fezile Ntuli; rugby legend Hottie Louw, Olympic Gold medallist Ryk Neethling, who is now the group marketing director for Val de Vie, AFIX Trading co-founder Alida Mouton, Topwatch CEO Johan Dreyer and BetterBond CEO Rudi Botha.
Celebrated as one of the best polo events in the world, the Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo tournament is also one of the most anticipated highlights of the SA social calendar and attracts local and international celebrities and captains of industry to enjoy a day of glamour, fine champagne, high fashion and high goal polo in spectacular surroundings.
“It was a dream day for us,” says Everitt,” as we were also celebrating the launch into Val de Vie of Luxury Portfolio International©, of which we are the SA affiliate, with the estate’s top-selling real estate professionals Anneke Buys and Amanda Colombo.
“Anneke and Amanda recently decided to joined Chas Everitt International, which is also the SA member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World© (LeadingRE), in order to give home sellers in Val de Vie - and the Pearl Valley and Boschenmeer estates - access to our global luxury property sales network.
“They already have an exceptional track record in their market, with more than R500m worth of sales concluded in the past two years, and we are very proud that they are now our representatives in the best lifestyle estates in the country, supported by our Luxury Portfolio division.”
This division, he notes, recently won the LeadingRE Luxury Trendsetter Award for global leadership in the high-end real estate sector, and is increasingly called upon as the brokerage of choice for SA’s most affluent property owners and investors, because it is able to reach an audience of more than three-million high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals in 200 countries, who buy more than US$250bn worth of real estate a year.
