Skulpiesbaai Lifestyle Estate

Category News

There are just a few stands left for sale in the Skulpiesbaai Lifestyle Estate, a new development in Stilbaai on the Garden Route, so those who would like to own a home here need to move fast.

Situated between the Skulpiesbaai Nature Reserve and the Stilbaai Golf Course, the estate overlooks a secluded slice of coast and offers safe, contemporary beach-house living in a low-density development where the homes are designed to be eco-friendly and "tread lightly" on the pristine natural habitat.

There are only 125 home sites in the estate and most are already sold, with prices for the stands that are left starting at just over R1,2m. Alternatively, there are three- and four-bedroom homes being offered off-plan at prices from around R6,35m.

Chas Everitt is currently also marketing a completed four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Skulpiesbaai for R8,6m. This home boasts many luxury features and finishes as well as its own solar power supply, gas geysers and water storage.

Stilbaai is located on the estuary of the Goukou River, just 300km from Cape Town and 150km from the George Airport, and has long been a sought-after holiday destination offering golf, tennis, bowls, squash, cycling, mountain biking, fishing and watersports facilities as well as a shallow bay, navigable lagoon and Blue Flag beaches.

However, in the past few years, it has attracted an increasing number of retirees and other permanent residents drawn by its peaceful and pollution-free environment, as well as an expanding range of modern amenities, including a shopping centre, three supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, pharmacies, medical, dental and law practitioners, two private hospitals and a primary school.
