The essence of winning for agents and clients

Category From Our CEO

I can't express how excited I am at the moment - -not just because of South Africa's winning sports teams and athletes, or the promising Spring and Summer sales season ahead as interest rates begin to ease, or even the fact that we achieved record-breaking sales numbers in August for the third consecutive year.

No, what truly excites me is the remarkable influx of high-performing, experienced agents choosing to join Chas Everitt. They are drawn by the fresh ideas, inspired leadership, and renewed sense of optimism driving our group forward.

Many of these agents have told me they were on the verge of leaving the industry entirely, but since joining us, they've experienced a revitalisation. Their passion has been re-ignited, and they are more motivated than ever. I believe this is because our primary focus is not merely securing the most expensive or significant number of sales but creating the happiest clients.

Like the Springboks, we are united, working towards a common goal, fostering a unique spirit - our own "gees". And this shared vision is a magnet for talented agents who have longed for renewed confidence in South Africa's future as a winning nation.

Furthermore, our leaders don't see themselves as supervisors but as coaches. Their role is to support our agents in reaching their fullest potential, cultivating empathy and building lasting relationships with clients. They help our agents become adaptable problem-solvers, ready to tackle challenges with confidence.

In alignment with our values, we also place great emphasis on accountability - both individual and corporate. Our approach to negotiation is principled and rooted in research, facts and logic rather than emotion or personality. This empowers our agents to achieve balanced outcomes that are satisfactory for all parties, positioning them as trusted advisors in the long- term.

In addition, we run the group with the agility of a startup - without complex hierarchies or rigid structures. This encourages a dynamic exchange of ideas across all levels and ensures that our leaders are as accessible and accountable as our agents. And this, in turn, brings even more benefits to our clients.
