Two Awards for Chas Everitt Website

The Chas Everitt International property group web site was a winner twice over at the recent Bookmarks award ceremony held at the Turbine Hall in Newtown to honour the creators of SA’s best digital advertising and marketing campaigns.
                                                                                          
Designed by Saatchi & Saatchi Synergize, it was named as the silver award winner in the Search Marketing category, and as the bronze award winner in the Brand, Commercial and Retail Websites category.
 
“This is a great outcome for us, says Chas Everitt International director Barry Davies. “We have always tried to be a leader in the adoption of new technologies that enhanced our service capabilities and improved our value proposition, but it is excellent to be recognised outside of our own industry and among the best online and interactive work being produced in SA.”    
 
Now in its seventh year, the Bookmarks competition is organised by the Interactive Advertising Bureau of South Africa (IAB) and this year attracted more than 800 entries from some of the country’s most innovative media and technology companies.
 
A total of 13 gold, 34 silver and 44 bronze certificates were announced at the award ceremony, along with 11 individual awards and four special honours awards, and Josephine Buys, CEO of IAB SA, told those attending the awards dinner that the work submitted this year had surpassed all expectations in quality as well as volume.
 
“Nevertheless, thanks to our international judge John Dixon and 54 local judges, we can say that all the winning entries display true excellence in digital creative work and execution while also delivering measurable results."
